On a more amusing note, not sure if anyone knows about or has been following the internet's war on Scientology, but it has hit campus and I had to make a note of it as I've taken a bit of interest in the topic. There's a group of people from a popular website who deem themselves "anonymous" and they have been fighting Scientology through technological means for the past few weeks. It's really quite amazing considering this group usually hacks people's myspace accounts and crashes websites for fun. So there's a protest of Scientology on Feb. 10, and these flyers are all over campus.

Basketball Blues
So I just got back from the first game of intramural basketball. We lost, but not by too much, the guys still have hopes of progressing in the end-of-season tournament. To our credit, the final score was 22-26, and we played 4 vs 5 - we had no subs while the other team had around 10 players- for a good 3/4 of the game. So had one of our players not gotten injured early on, there's a pretty good chance we would have won. Needless to say, we were all disappointed, and once again, I contributed almost nothing to the team effort (though I did score 2 points) . I really don't know if I have the drive to go practice and try to improve for only 3 more games (or I guess just for the sake of improvement). It's rather frustrating, I have to say.
