So the concert was last night, and I already have my hearing back. Don't let that mislead you though, we rocked hard. Andrew's uncles (identical twins) are the vocalist and bassist for the band, so we got free tickets. Needless to say, I'm not gonna turn down free tickets to a concert. We missed the first 2 bands that played, but we saw one before Madina Lake, and the headline band after Madina Lake, Aiden. Madina Lake definitely rocked the hardest out of any of them. They had confetti cannons, balloons filled with confetti, the singer dove into the crowd a few times, had people crowd surfing. It was awesome. Then came Aiden, a whiny, emo/goth, "my life is so miserable" band that just sucked. There are a million bands just like them, only the other bands do it well. Then we got to meet Andrew's uncles and talk for a bit. Heard an interesting story involving them and Coheed and Cambria (another American band that has been gaining popularity lately). Damn, wish I was a rockstar.
Helped Andrew post these flyers all over campus, I think I'm officially a groupie now.
